Bernadette Schwerdt founded the Australian School of Copywriting in 2001, an institution that assists individuals write copy for their own businesses or to become freelance copywriters working for small businesses. As a former reporter on Channel 9’s The Small Business Show, she is an expert at coaching and guiding small businesses on how to create maximum impact with limited dollars. She is a professional copywriter as well as a lecturer in marketing and communications at RMIT, University of Melbourne and other institutions.
Prior to her copywriting and training career, Bernadette worked as a senior publicist with the Harry M. Miller Group, where she worked with clients such as Maggie Tabberer, Alan Jones, Lindy Chamberlain and Gough Whitlam.
